Maze of Fear

Entry 2

Nothing prepares you for that moment. Such an intense feeling, otherworldy, where your mind is intertwined with the memories of past, and all that remains is the shadow of hope.

Prisoner of bygone times, I find myself pondering over memories that have constantly eluded me. And there I stand, at the precipice of my demise, soaking in one final view of this crippled world.

Its just a dream, a cryptic labyrinth that led me to believe that I could not overcome my fears. What a horrifying way to live? Continually, seeking to battle an enemy that hides in plain sight, as relentless as a winter storm, as perplexing as a yellow thorn.

Its that fear that consumes you at night. It feeds off you as you wake at the break of dawn, and walks by your side as you cross the boulevard of your dreams.

Nevertheless, I’ll continue my voyage through the maze of life, which I recognize one day will end. And trust me, I know how it feels to be anxious about that too, the quandary of death, but I hold on to his promise, to his word, to his everlasting love.
